QSpice returns a Fatal Expression error - help to problem solve appreciated

I had failed to tick "Port" for IN. This is done and solved the issue.

I have discovered that what actually solved the issue is - I must save a change I also close the program and restart it. It is a pain to make this part of the workflow but it's manageable. Reminds me of Win3.1
