hi all!
In this address(http://dogbreath.de/PS1/Damping/Damping.html), Mick write about a special method to make the sound of the PS1 cleaner, "the PS1 needs an appropriate damping stage with a low resonance frequency",
How could the physical device which Mick made influence the output the PS1? The output is electrical signal, it will not be changed by the shake or some mechanical interruption.
Does anybody know the reason or get similar experience?
Nice sharing and thank you!

I do not know about that either. I don't use anti-vibration devices like platforms. If I did, I would only use it for turntables and, possibly, tube gear.
This should be in the main PlayStation thread.
