Q: Resample before DAC ?

Hi all,

Is it best to use a resampling IC before a DAC?

Im thinking about building a DAC based on TI's new PCM1798, but im trying to work out if it would be best to use a SRC4192 before it or not.

Opinions?

What do you mean with resampling ?

By resample i mean:

Source (44.1Khz) -> AD1896 or SRC4192 (resample to 96khz or 192khz) -> DAC

Instead of feeding the DAC the 44.1Khz source.
