I picked up a pair of Samson Servo 120s and neither have working LED VU meters. There are 4 meters total and each one uses a BA6124 SIP chip driving as separate PCB with LEDs. Here is the data sheet -

Does anyone have experience with this chip? Are they failure prone? I suspect a similar problem in each amp since all meters are dead. I tried re-seating the cables to the LED PCBs and some other mechanical things already.
Any thoughts?
😕

Before drawing conclusions, check that the VU circuits actually have power, the common denominator. I've come across a couple of amplifiers where users have even disconnected LED meters which have proven irritating in an unlit room.
I have these as well and the meter sensitivity is very low (probably because it is related to full output for the amps) - have you tried turning up the volume a bit (without a speaker) to check that the LEDs don't light up?

Not higher than 2 o'clock position on each pot Nisbeth. Will retry, thank you for that detail.
Unfortunately no change. I will take the tops off again and check voltages.
