Push-Pull and SET

There have been some attempts to use PP transformers in an SE amp, but they are really just compromises

Parafeed. Now you have a cap instead of the transformer (sort of). You have to add a big choke to feed power to the output tubes.

An SE OPT has to handle DC (so has a gap), a PP doesn’t. This makes an SE OPT bigger and harder to get right than a PP OPT.
