Wasapi plays 1st note twice
I thought I saw this referenced before, but now I can't find it... When I am using WASAPI playback, the first second of music is played twice. This doesn't happen under the standard playback. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found a solution.

I couldn't get Wasapi to work under Windows 7...
I found the issue referenced in posts 191 and 265, but did not see a resolution. Wasapi works for me in version 2.91, except for this one issue.

I was unable to open that link... But now i tried to open via a proxy site and it works now... Successfully downloaded. Thanks

Sir until now am still using version 2.1 and am very pleased with it...tried to download the latest version but the links given: http://www.purediy.gr/downloads/pp.html server cannot be found unfortunately. I hope u can provide me a working link of ur latest version. Wis u all the best and more power to u Sir!

I have been using Pure Player over Foobar2K and this is the best player you could have so far.
While lack of controls you can always try out something similar but with more features from common mediaplayer with some direct sound mode.

Try to experiment using different audio output available ( direct sound and Alpha 2 wave out) to compares.
So far this is my second choice after Pure Player !
