I can tell you they are dangerous and don't work, they are highly overrated: my double blindfolded tester run away (he objected to my having kidnapped him) and run straight across the test racetrack.

My red car hit him and we haven't found him yet .... but when we do we'll easily calculate impact speed, what the test is about.

Scientific method anyone?

We still need a volunteer to test the black car speed.

As you see, it's far easier to read a few dozen Forum posts and pick one I like 😉

Every loudspeaker should have big soldering tags at the rear of the enclosure. A powerful soldering iron should be included in speakers mounting kit with a few meters of soldering wire and some flux and of course a short soldering tutorial. Say goodbye to pure copper, rhodium plated, cryo treated banana plugs, telurium copper spades etc., and enjoy the best sound possible.Do not use extremely thick loudspeaker cables.

I disagree, there have been sensible comments and guides on what is important for forming a connection to a wire from a component, this is critical in all areas of electronics and in some it becomes life/mission critical, so there is a whole lot of information out there on how to do it... I thought the NASA guide appropriate as 'Rocket Science' is an oft used phrase in some esoteric audiophile marketing... But you have to remember what often goes for space electronics doesn't always apply on planet earth... we don't have to face such an extreme environment or the vibration of take off....

But then who's going to listen to me I've used these in the past with great results...
