Good luck on the Linear Power. If cost and repair was an issuse with the Rockford Fosgate your in for a rude awakening when it comes to Linear Power amps. Those things will be exspensive.The TO3's models are the only ones I'd recommend if not stay Rockford Fosgate.So lets say you find 2002,2502,3002,or 5002 (IQ or Non-IQ) be ready to bleed (If its working condition).You might get lucky and find one reasonable but it will need to be REPAIRED.But its worth it!
If your just adding an amp to some 6X9's don't waste your time ask for the Punch 150 back.

It wasn't the cost of the repair that made it not worth it to me but more of the fact that it just wasn't worth all the effort to own yet another Punch 150. Time to let that memory fade with the past 😉
As for Linear Power, I know TIPS can get them working again because I purchased one off of eBay that needed repair. I also know that it won't be cheap! Regardless, that is a risk that I am willing to accept to get something that I really, really want!😀
I bought two LP 1002, one is nib and works great the other has been worked on some and has IIRC 35mv offset. Not sure it is worth going after, guess I could put caps in it and see but not entirely sure what is causing it yet. Sure can hear the difference in sound/tone when you hook it up to a test speaker (compared to a typical new amp). My buddy wants them, wants me to try them in my car first but not sure they have enough power for me...or I care to screw with the wiring to hook them up. Yes 2002/3002 are my favorites but I'd not bother to spend on them for prices I've seen just IMO.
Man that just sucks. Missing speaker fuses and a burnt resistor. I actually own the very first Punch 150 (non HD model) The one with skinny fins with white writting on the back.
