PSU for amplifier

I have HEADPHONE CONSOLE RANE HC6 and i lost PSU for it.
Does anybody have experience how to make PSU - instead of standart RS-socket to install Aviation Plug

Just get a small power transformer rated for 18Vac/1.5A.

The question is still - is there expedient to perfect the device - instead of standart socket to install aviation plug ? In my opinion, such a sockets more reliable.

There's no reason you can't change the current plug/socket (it's an RJ25 I think?) for something else. Just a standard barrel jack would be my pick.
