This has been discussed before here. Look for 10 degree or 8 degree dichroic 50 watt lamp by philips or other makers.
I wonder now if one can eliminate the back or first fresnel all together. Another words, assuming we are using a split fresnel design can we just use the fresnel between objective and lcd and no fresnel between lamp and lcd?
