PS95-8 + DA215-8

Hello All,

I am working on a compact 2-way with the Dayton PS95-8 and side-firing DA215-8. I have tight spaces for the speakers and decided to use some old 0.3 cu.ft. cabs I had gathering dust. The drivers are sharing the cabinet space and i will soon be making some small rear chambers for the FRs - plastic cups, somebody suggested.

First, I'm still trying to figure out how to use my VituixCAD designer, so I took a shortcut and looked up JShadzi's Micofarads: Microfarads- Nano Speaker using PS95 and W5-2053

It appears this might be an appropriate starting point - I do like the 300hz XO point, but since my drivers are much closer in sensitivity - about 3db apart - I don't think the Lpad, if necessary, would need the same values.

I actually will be adding tweeters to theses speakers - I call them 2-ways but when I look at the PS95's break-up in the high regions I just can't live with that, so they will get the same roll-off as the Micofarads.

I'm kind of a minimalist when it comes to XOs - no more than what can be heard - but I do want to execute these properly and get the best performance reasonably possible.

So your input is greatly appreciated.
