PS for JFET preamp recommendation?

Well, as my post for a preamp recommendation led to something exactly like I was looking for:

I now find myself looking for a suitable PS design to drive it with and find everything posted too intimidating (zener noise, tracking preregulator; pass transistor; 3 terminal regulator noise 😕 )

So, just as the actual preamp I chose to build was an elegant (to me) low parts count design, is there a simple low parts count PS design to match?

I don't have background on issues such as the importance of low noise versus precision of regulation, how important is regulation in the first place, etc.

How about a 2-transistor constant current source, feeding a resistor to give a constant voltage, driving an emitter follower. Kind of a capacitance multiplier.
