PRV horns

Any observations or even better, polar measurements?

I note PRV do a 90 x 40 exponential horn with a 2" throat and a 500Hz cut off (JBL 400Hz?). Similar in size to the JBL 2380a but without the diffraction slot in the throat which is a cause of higher distortion due to thermal compression at higher levels but does provide the horn with good even dispersion.

Apart from cost which is in the PRV favour (I know P Audio also do a JBL clone) does anyone have experience of these horns..the throat is circular and the horn exponential so I would expect lower distortion than the JBL. I am not seeking ultimate efficiency and response slope can easily be corrected. I am happy to crossover at around 800Hz with a Beyma 750Ti.

So, any down sides to this horn...cheers?
