Hi,
I am a new member on this forum. I just bought an LCD panel from e-bay for the DIY LCD projector, its "Proxima data Display A342". I did not receive any documentation or cables with this panel. I will realy appriciate if someone can help me to figure out video pinout for this panel, so I can use this on my PC. The video connector type is a DB9 female.

DB9? That sounds like EGA or lower...
Is there a quality video signal that uses DB9? None that I'm familiar with, but I could be wrong.

I did try the EGA and CGA connections on this panel but I do not see any video on the panel. Any other advise will be helpful. Thanks.
DB9 VGA Connector
Many of the early VGA screens used a 9 pin iput on the monitor end. Especially the NEC multisync series etc. you could try to find one of these cables.
If you give me a week or so I'll hunt through my old files and find the pinout for you.

Brett
