Prototype fender bassman for trade - echosonic or standel 25l15

Hello everyone,

I have one of the only 5 prototype 4x10 Fender Bassmans, and I am interested in knowing if anyone out there would consider a trade for it.

IT IS THE EARLIEST SERIAL NUMBER OF THE 4x10s KNOWN TO EXIST -- SERIAL # 0013 . It is a late 1954 model 5D6 (not 5D6-A), no schematic is known to exist.

It's got all original transformers, has been recapped (power caps) and a 3prong plug for safety, but the new caps have been recovered with the old orange Astron labels. The TONE CAPS are all there, as is the selenium rectifier (with a small SS diode for protection).

PM me if you think you have something of interest. Here's what I'm after at the moment:

1955 Ray Butts Echosonic model EA-1
1958-196x Rickenbacker Ek-O-Sound model M-30
1953-19xx Standel model 25L15 or similar

Thank you,
Frank

Bassman 0013

Since I've been getting mail about this for some time, I just wanted to let everyone know that I sold my 1954 Fender Bassman SN 0013 to a guy in Taipei City Taiwan for 5 grand. He paid a thousand dollars to ship it there, which is what UPS wanted for this. He received it in 3 days. I highly recommend UPS... just amazing service.

For those interested, more than 5 of these amps have now surfaced. They are:

0035 (Albert Talley), 0075 (Jim Cornett), 0077 (Perry Tate), 0089 (Mark Grandfield), 0701, 0745 (Walter Horton), 0769 (Hayes Kolb), 0780 (sold on eBay Nov 2006), and 0783.
