Hello,
i have Protel DXP and i want to use the Spice Models from ON Semiconductor... but i don't know how to make them work..
Have tried "add simulation model" in & out but i can't make it work.
How can i put a pspice or spice2/3 model into protel???
anyone know?
Thank you very much!
Regards
Timo

Last time I tried to use the spice sim in protel was a dismal failure. Protel is for PCB layout ( despite what the marketing dept. says
)
I much prefer Simetrix, its library management is just brilliant - give it a directory and it runs around vacuuming up all the spice models it can find, and even gets the schematic symbols right most of the time.
There's a free evaluation version you can download - limited nodes, but still useful.
