i have a Mitsubishi LVP SA51U and i love the projector. it was cheap and it has 1000 lumens and works good for me.

my problem is the signal quality. right now i am using composite signal. the quality looks alright but now what i want.

im projecting at about 120" diagnal

it seems that it is real fuzzy. now when i go to the projector menu settings it is nice and focused and clean. this is why i know that it is the composite signal.

so my question is that if i use the component connection from my dvd player to the projector will it look significantely better. composite is horrible.

also how can i upgrade quality for the television or is it even possible.

When I changed from composite to RGB (converted from component) I was speechless. I still can't beleive it is possoble to get this good picture from a CRT monitor. Yes, I know there is a big diff between CRT and LCD projector but I am sure you will get a MAJOR improvement in picture qualty with an other kind of source/connection. What kind of inputs are available on the projector?

my projector manual said to use a

mini D-SUB 15 pin-BNC conversion cable for connection.

which is basically a vga to component cable.

ill use it from the dvd player to the projector. and it should work if i ever get an hd reciever because the projector does 720p

cool im looking for a night and day difference. and i found out for the television that some channels are clear through composite and some arent.

so its just one of those things.

and my projector does do 720p at least that is what it says in my manual
