I teach at high school and I bought this Spectra view Pro panel projector to use on my overhead. It works great for the power point and the students love it also. So I figured I would show a movie on the panel connected to my Dell Latitude laptop with the DVD player. The DVD player is internal to the Dell. Well this is what happens. The background remains perfectly lit and shows up on the screen, yet the part where the movie would show up is completely black. At the same time, the movie is showing on the laptop. I tried to change the screen pixels from 800x600 to the pixels over 1000 but this did nothing. Any suggestions? Thank you, it sure would be nice to get this up and running. 🙁

settings
u have to set the lcd panel as the primary monitor for the movie to play on it right click in center of screen then properties then settings you should see 2 screens in blue labeled 1 and 2 click on the second monitor then go beloew the resolution settings it there should be a option to check use this device as the primary monitor check that problem solved.
