Hi All,
I have a lens from a mitsubushi x500u projector (replaced the original with a short throw). I would like to use this lens to create an opaque projector - basically the same design as a LCD but using reflected light and not projected through. The "lens" has two motors, and it looks like one controls a front lens (I presume this is the zoom) and the other controls three internal lenses at varrying ratios (maybe for the difference with the RGB wavelengths) and I guess that is the focus.
Here is a picture of it....
Has anyone ever done this before?
My questions are about how to determine the exact mounting distances and focal length ... that kind of thing...
Thanks
