well i finaly finished this projector total time into it 60 hours
wow that took a long time but my friend should be very happy
tomarrow when i set it up at his house
Lcd used NEC 1545v
Lamp used DIY-LABS 250W metal halide
Objective Lens used DIY-LABS Triplet
Fresnel used DIY-LABS 12.2x12.2
Condensor Lens used Surplus Shed 77mm meniscus lens
Reflector used $1.00 High Pollished Icecream scoop
Power Supply used 12V Mini ATX 150W 9 Amp
And about $100 in plexi,screws,paint,pvc,and aluminum
Total size Length X Width X Height - 28" X 18" X 13"
Weight 30 Lbs
below are pictures of the finished unit ...and results
the result pictures were taken of projected images
on a $20 home depot window shade
they are about 100" diagonal
they are close in brightness but the sharpness is much
better in real life
im still tryin to figure this digicam out

I see you have three power switches on the back: I would think its one for light one for the lcd and one for the cooling system -> is that correct?
Did you experience any problems/abnormalities when switching on/off the bulb?
If its possible, could you post a rough sketch of your wiring?
