I'm having trouble getting a refund for an order that never shipped from HLLY Audio in China. Read about poor customer service from this outfit on another hi-fi forum, so I'm posting here to ask if anyone else had trouble getting gear (or refunds) from HLLY.
Back in September 2010, I ordered a YAQIN VK-2100 Integrated amp directly through HLLY's website - paid $238 through PayPal. Never received any notice of shipment (or the amp itself) from HLLY, even though I sent HLLY several email messages over a period of three months. HLLY never bothered to respond to any of my email requests.
By December 2010 I still had no amp or any response from HLLY. I notified PayPal of the non-shipment, and sought a reversal/refund of the $238 charge. My account on the HLLY Audio website shows that the refund request is "processing." Nevertheless, in April 2010, I still have not received the actual refund - yes, even after sending several email messages to which HLLY has failed to reply.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone else about problems with HLLY Audio, and if a favorable outcome was ever obtained.

I bought a DMK IV dac last year from Hlly via eBay...shipping via EMS was slow (3 weeks) but they did respond to my e-mails with tracking info.
Thanks for the reply, Kevin! I guess HLLY treats its eBay customers better than those who order directly from its website - no way to post negative feedback on hllyhifi.com.
