Hello,

I own amplifiers that use B&O icepower 1000ASP modules and nothing more, just the modules. I have problems with them.

I have built speakers that use following components:

-Bass driver: Eighteen Sound 15NMB420 8ohm
-Tweeter driver: Eighteen Sound NSD1095N 8ohm
-Crossover built following this link schematics:

When i connect the amplifiers to my speakers, all i get is this weird noise like "peep, peep, peep" or "ziup, ziup, ziup". I doesn´t effect on the noise that do i have balanced signal cables connected or not. I cannot listen music. All i hear is this noise.

There is 33uF capasitor in the crossover. Original capasitor was 33uF 250Vdc and it didin´t work. I tried to replace that with 33uF 100Vdc and Voilá! It works, but cannot listen enough loud, cause capasitor will break down.
Next i bought Aydun Cap 33uF 400Vdc polyester capasitor and there is this NOISE again. I switched back to 33uF 100Vdc and it works again.

The amplifiers works with another speakers and the speakers mentioned here works with different amplifiers. WEIRD!

This is totally mystery to me and i hope that you can tell me, why this happens. I love my amplifiers, best sounding ever, i love my speakers and i need to be able to listen them together.

Here is video of the sound:

Please help me!
