Hi. Whenever I try to enter something to search for, the search box disappears just after I hit search. Cannot search. 😳😢
This has been reported before and seems to depend on your system.
Most likely the forum is sending a search box and your browser is not displaying it. It is good to give details of your machine: browser brand and version, operating system, device type (desktop? cellphone?).
Saying what you have may help others help you with specific advice.
However the long story is that this forum's software is ancient, does not do its best in very new browsers. Jason is working to replace it with a brand new forum software with all modern features.

Happens to me on android. If using windows try reinstalling your browser, chrome has similarly crapped out on me a few times.

I used Advanced Search then, but now doesn't work anymore??

It sounds like you are using the "Search Wiki" box. The Wiki has been broken for a year or more. Yes, there are some old links around which don't work.
This is how it looks on a big screen. It may come out differently on a small screen or on other browsers.

There are _two_ "Advanced Search" links on that drop-box. One for Forums, one for Wiki.
Forums works, Wiki does not.

OK... I did not notice before that there are two links. It isn't completely obvious on a mobile...
Yep, search dissappear when I want type on my phone. It's quite annoying, but advanced search page is a good option. I think the issue is with layer priority set in CSS file.
