I can't agree more about noisy resistors. Fender's new produced amplifier was born with a stupid falut in some series. The anode resistors were only quart watts so in short time, they started to make noise. I email'd Fender, same did a man call'd Lasse(Another tech.), but Fender said everything was fine...
In new fenders, they have changed to halv watts resistors, wonders if that's enough.
