Has anyone had a problem with the Seas Excel magnesium woofer driver! It happens to me that when I play louder. At first I thought there was a problem with the suspension so I tried to change the position of turning the driver in all directions and it didn't help.
Now it seems to me that the wire from the coil has unwound a little bit and when playing louder, and scratches the magnet. The speaker will need to be opened and repair the malfunction.Has anyone opened such a driver? If so, I would ask for any useful information about it. Thank you.!

Is it under warrantee? Could be a manufacturing problem (unless you've cooked the winding and that's caused it to detach).
How long have you had it - heavy cones can sag the suspension and cause rubbing after time - in which case remounting rotated 180 degrees may help (for a while at least). Can you definitely see detached winding turns?

Thank you for response. They have not been under warranty for a long time and I have never pushed them over 60% of rated power.
I already rotated it in 180 '. It didn't help.

Perhaps give it a little while to settle? I'd avoid anything drastic if it might be unnessary. Are recone-kits available?Thank you for response. They have not been under warranty for a long time and I have never pushed them over 60% of rated power.

Not a problem when listened to at a moderate level.Only when I raise the volume a little more ... I don't have a plan yet
and I don't have a recon kit. I'm just gathering information.I know some people who do that. But it is important to me that
they have already had experience with this type of driver.
That's why I opened the topic here. I hope someone with experience will come forward.
If the speaker opens, then you need to have an adequate solvent for such glue.
