Problem with IR radiation.

Within 10 minutes of use my projector shows washed out vertical bars on dark screens. I believe this is related to IR radiation. I tried extra fans but the problem want go away completely. I’m not sure how to correct this problem before I damage my panel. I tried using low-e glass 3/8” kind that is used in office buildings (problem still there). Will Home Depot Low-E glass work better? What bathers me the most is the fact that my projector is exactly the same as my friends (we where building side by side) and his PJ is fine. We use the same Samsung panels, bulbs and ballasts. I don’t understand this. How can I correct this? Any help will be appreciated.

IR filtering

Low E glass does not work: It blocks very long wave IR, like the stuff your furniture would emit when it is warmed by sunlight through the window. It does not block the short wave IR, which is why the sunlight's IR gets through to warm up your house to begin with.

Here are a few different things that work well to block IR:

Dichroic Hot Mirror (passes >90% of visible light)
Rosco Thermashield film (passes 80% of visible light)
DIYprojectorCompany.com IR filter glass (passes 80% vis light)

Those are in order of cost, high to low.
