Problem with a Behringer B207D stage monitor

I need some advice as to a problem I'm having with my portable Behringer monitor. It's the one with the mp3 player built-in.

A few times now when trying to use it for a gig, I plugged it in, no power coming on. Tried all different things, changing plugs, checking the mains, switched power leads etc. to no avail. Both times now when bringing it back home & plugging the thing in, it all lights up fine, all working fine no problems. Very strange, seems to have mind of its own.

Any thoughts?

intermittant operation....these types of problems do seem to have a mind of there own.

a rubber mallet, a closed fist, a swift kick, or simply lifting a corner and dropping it may reveal whether or not it's a loose connection that's going open when transporting it.
if it doesn't respond to physical shock stimulus then it's an even deeper rabbit hole.

Hi Turk

Wanted to update you on the Behringer problem I had. Found out it was condensation, not keeping it aired out properly after use for one, making sure it's in an even temperature environment, not hot & cold extremes. In keeping an eye out with that it's working fine. So all's well for now.

I used to have a lot of problems with disco dual cd players with condensation.
They often would skip on the first few tracks at a gig.

I also had a washing machine that refused to work in a damp outhouse.
The damp got into the electronics and upset them.
