I read the FAQ regarding how to post pictures. According to the FAQ you need to first create an Album via your User CP and then add the picture to the album. The FAQ goes on to say that the Album can be created by clicking on the "Pictures & Albums" link on the control panel, and then clicking on "Add Album".
When I go to my User CP I don't see a link called "Pictures & Albums" anywhere on the page.
Can anybody tell me where it is?
I also tried posting a picture by using the "Insert Image" button on the new thread editor but it doesn't see to work when linking to my Photobucket site. I've done this a million times on Head-fi.org and other forums but it is not working here.

I too have just experienced problems up loading pictures!!
This is a first for me as I always resize them and make sure that they are not to big before I upload them.
Under the manage attachments tab.

Same problems too...thought it was Mozilla/Adblock but not so as I can send pics via email. The issue lies with diyaudio and not related to file size.

Me Too ! Also switched browsers. Got error message when creating new gallery, but the new section shows up. Just can't upload to any gallery or add a photo to posts.
I'm also having the same problem.
Depending on the browser and if using browse for file or URL upload you can also get "This is not a valid image file" rather than "Upload of file failed".
