Hello All,
After much reading on the forums about the ProAC 2.5 Clones I have decided to try my hand at building a pair. There are however a few questions which I have unable to formulate clear answers to.
1. On the geocities proac site, the construction plans show a drilled brace. Where excatly does this sit? in the middle of the speaker, above the port, or at a certain height?
2. Where is the best palce to mount the crossover, inside the box or outside. I would like to mount it on the outside for easy modificatio as I plan to replace the crossover with an active design in the future, but I am unsure on the best way to externally mount it without looking out of place.
3. In the forum posts there has been a lot of discussion aobut changing the internal dampening of the system. My question is, have you left a panel which can be easily removed, and if so, how?
4. For the drivers, to sit in the hole flush as I have seen in many pictures, how much of a rebate is necessary?
Anty help and especially internal pictures would be greatly apreaciated. Thankyou.
