I have a question regarding the DoP to DSD decoding function. In datasheet page 58 it says when DOP bit == 1 the AK4137 can automatically switch between DoP input and PCM input based on the DoP marker detection, which means I can set the bit and supply PCM or DoP stream without changing the settings and AK4137 will figure out the rest. Immediately after this paragraph, it says 'Do not input PCM data when DOP bit = “1”'. It seems to contradict to itself. My question is, does AK4137 have the ability to distinguish DoP stream from the PCM stream with DoP bit set to 1? Thanks!
In my tests I've seen no problems with DoP detection and decoding. The wording on the datasheet is a bit confusing..
Hi,
I will probably be ordering a new batch of PCB (AK3147 Evaluation Board).
If anyone is interested, please contact me here or at PW.
