Came across this old gem. I just buzzes. I replaced the tubes and still..... with the tubes out it buzzes. I put a new output jack on it and still buzzes. Could it be the big old can in it? One thing I noticed is when I turn it off the "on" light stays lite for quite some time. I can't find a can to replace it.

Nice simple unit. The light not going out instantly is no big deal especially with the tubes removed.
The Yellow cap lead is the bypass cap on the 6AQ5 cathode, without the tube in it it will read zero again, normal.
If it were mine, I would simply replace the caps with individual parts, plenty of room inside those.
BTW, if it is in cosmetically good condition, those things are valuable!
There is lots of info around on those,
