Preference in internal wiring P2P and signal

Morning all,

Please allow a long time lurker of the diyAudio treasures a simple question. This could be solid state, but since I'm doing a GC I thought I'd ask here.........

Wondering about your preferred wire for 2 purposes:

1) In P2P work when the leads are not long enough (shorter is better I know, but.....)

2) Type and configuration of wire for carrying signal from input on rear panel to the 'engine' (twisted, shielded, bare, silver, tinned copper ......)

I realise that thickness (AWG) has to be suitable for the loads carried in supply/output lines so my question is more in terms of materials (copper, silver, tinned copper....), isolation (PFTE, none.....) and configuration (twisted, shielded, single......)

Thanks
Henrik

Merry X-mas to all

Judging from the number of bidders to my original question I have one additional:

OK so you gues are all running wireless..... How did you do that? (Only now do I realise the full meaning of 'less is more' 😀):

Geez I did not realise wireless applications had come this far, perhaps I need to do some studying....

It is the copper (if it is the copper, I don’t have an experience with pure silver) that matters. The best wire I tried till now as signal wire was 0.34mm^2 but it is likely that certain variation from this will also work. For supply I use 1.5mm^2 (same for the power cord). All solid core, of course. While it is often good to put a few solid core wires in parallel, the stranded cables usually don’t sound natural.
