go for it I have one it's very well built. Won't go <40Hz without tapped horn (which I what I'm planning for it just not had the time). Pro usage is typically in a ported box but if horn resp is correct vast bass extension and SPL is possible in large tapped horns (120dB@ 30Hz in a 100L box).

For bass, driver 'beef' is required in all venues.
For highs, a gossamer tweeter works well only in a domestic (TLC) setting.
I like this firms products and rank the quality equal to that of JBL.

I like the look of THIS driver also with it being a good price, high effeciency and fits what i want from it I wandered if there's any reasons whby i shouldn't use pro drovers for hifi.

Hi, I noticed this driver a while ago and made some simulations, i.e. a 30 Hz/115dB into half space TH: At 90W and below no HP filtering is needed ...FYI:
