So I have a B&O turntable and a Carver m500t power amp I want to use it with. Problem there is, I need a means of volume control as well as a preamp.
So I thought about searching 'round here for a basic preamp design (I'm far from an expert in DIY) using the LME49710.
Then I thought I also may want to add a CD player to this stack. So my plan is to use a three pole six terminal switch. One set of RCA inputs will go direct to the switch. The other will go to the preamp circuit, and the preamps outputs will go to the second set of terminals on the switch. Lastly, the remaing pair of terminals on the switch will go to the potentiometer.
So, now I need a recommend on a solid preamp circuit. I'd rather not buy kits if possible.
