I bought an Infocus Powerview off line a few days ago, the model number is Powerview 820. I have every cable I need for it exept the damn powersupply. on the back it says that it takes +15 2A and -15v .25A. I can't find this powersupply on the infocus website. Does anyone have and Idea how I can get this projector up and going??

Thanks

power supply

I had to find a power supply for my LCD panel too. Mine needed 12 VDC and 2.9 Amps. I went to my local electronics supply store and bought a power supply that will give me 12VDC and 3.0 amps. I think I spent less than $30.

Since I am in California, I can't really recommend any place to where you can get it where you are, but it shouldn't be too hard. I wouldn't expect to find it at Radio Shack though.

Just make sure you have the polarity of the plug correct.

A few down on the right-most column.

Output to 180 degree 5-pin male Din as pictured. 7" x 3-3/4" 2-1/8". Built-in EMI filter. Overvoltage and overcurrent protection. Input surge and current protection. Regulated. AC line not included. $29.90 Ea, $24.80 Ea/10. MC907

Pretty close to your requirements. Only problem is the cost, but you're not really going to find one much closer than that surplus... but check around on that page more if you like. I've not seen a site have more transformers than them.

Stinky

You are in luck. I bought a panel a few months ago on eBay. The panel didn't work when it arrived🙁. I recently bought another one that works. I tested the power supply from the first panel with the new one and it works. Long story short, I have an extra power supply. Email me if you interested.
