Ok so I have 2 PV 820's One that was compleat for 75.00 and One I just recently got for 5 bucks that was With nothing, tried My PS from My Fully loaded PV and the new panel works fine, Only problem without a PS its useless I have the PS specs from the Other Powerview( see attached pic) so what I was thinking is, Only 2 pins are used the rest are ground so Why couldnt I just get a 15V power supply and cut off the barrell Plug and see what One is + and what One is Neg and get a 4 pin din plug and only connect the 2 wires and leave the Grounds blank( empty) any other suggestions, If I can get a PS for this panel that would be great. Thanks for any help

if i've understood all you are talking about(sorry my english is strange)
you want to buy a power suply and adapt it to work with your panel?
is it easy to find one with positive and negative 15V?
did you mesure the power on all the pins?
be sure you only have the +, the - and the others are ground
if it's sure go ahead
bye

Moi, well Im not sure as you can see above the pinouts are +15 -15 and rtn, Im assuming rtn means the same as ground, But Im not sure, I will get a voltmeater to check it out tho, hopefully somenone here has done this allready or know more then I do On the plugs specs.

It would probally work fine off a +12,-12 supply. Just use a computer power supply and put a switch on the power on signal green/black on the motherboard connector. Here's a link on how to modify it. Just need a toggle switch on the green and a ground wire. Pins 14/15.

Well I ordered a Voltmeter and a 4 pin din connector( actually 2 so In case I mess something up) should be here by the start of next week. I will check the pins on My current PS and With any luck only the 2 pins are used with a pos and neg and the rest are ground. If so it should be a easy diy project, If not Im gonna mail it to a frend whom works for GM as a electrical engineer and see if he cant whip up something for me......I will keep you all posted as this would be useful for people in the future.
