I have two tansformers with the following parameters:
- 2x27V secondary voltages
- 150 - 200VA
Which amplifier should I build for these? My preferences are:
- I want a good quality amp.
- Should be easy to build
I have found this Hiraga amp.
Do you have better advices? Are there better amps to build?

Usually they buy a transformer after choosing an amplifier circuit)))
You can get bipolar voltage + -35 V at current up to 2A.

To build any amplifier is (equally) difficult. You need to have different skills and the right hands. The cost may be more than a good used amplifier.

Some of my design was compared by local audio community with several branded amplifier which more expensive about 2x ~ 3x. They said, my amplifier is better. Of course, development cost is high, but built unit is much cheaper.
Do what gives you the satisfaction of building. The Hirgara looks nice for your application. Just be aware that a 30 watt class-A will need to be built like a 150-200 watter (heatsinks, capacitance, chassis size, weight etc).
