Power tubes with Mosfet driver

Hi.
I'm trying to design a bass guitar power amp.
My objective is a push-pull with 4 6L6GC beacouse I have a dozen around my desk..
So, I was reading all I can about tube / valve power amps, especially output transformers, but then I paid more attention to tubes/valves and I stucked with the dilema to use a MOSFET as a power drive for the 6L6's or simple a tube/valve cathode follower...

If I use a MosFet driver, my first doubt is at the moment that the amp is switch on...

What happend to the grids of the power tubes/valves? Does they reach a high positive voltage at turn on the amp? If does, is this a real problem? It seems a "fight" beetwen the source resistor and the MOSFET in wich someone wins the race of put a certain voltage at the grids at switch on..
