Does someone know where I can find (dealer, part number) a power switch looking like the one on Pass Labs' X-series power amplifiers (large, flat & circular swtich)

Try some "Vandal resistant switches"

or Apem's website www.apem.com, I've come across one of their Vandal resistant switch in Farnell's catalog that resembles the X-power switch...
good luck

Um, i haven't seen the inside of that amp, but i beleive the button is a common plastic SPDT or DPDT, with the aluminium "button" mounted on the chasis. This is done a lot, from TV sets to industrial equipment.
Gabster,
the button is a rather heavy stainless steel / brass "front end" with a standard plastic switch mounted behind. I use one as a starter knob for my car, bought it at conrad in Germany. (www.conrad.de part n. 706497)

Originally we used the "vandal resistant" switches intended
for elevator use simply for the look, but their reliability
was the worst I've ever seen, so we ended up fabricating
our own.
