I want to build New amplifier and I try the SF60 PCB and the voltage transformer have big range Choice of 22 to 36-+ vac.
How determine the best Power supply voltage and why in lots of cases the transformer voltage is reduced when you setup amplifier Board for 4ohm speaker vs 8ohm ?

For the same power output a 4 ohm load requires 71% of the supply voltage at 141% of the current compared to 8 ohms, as voltage drops by √2 and current increases by √2 so that the impedance is halved.
