Power Supply schematics for Thorens 240V AC Motor

Dear all,

I'm very interested in building a PS for my THorens TD160 MKII which uses an AC motor running on 240 V.

In this forum i've read the posts of Raka and Guilherme which have build such supplies. Interesting as it is it's not enough info for me to build such a thing. I'm afraid I need a good scheme because I cant design one myself.

Can anybody help me with a scheme or a link where I can find one. Please?

Hi,

its best for the inexperienced to build a low voltage supply,
e.g. 24V~AC and then use a mains transformer in reverse.
