I've got this Quadraflex Reference 450R receiver and I would like to replace the power supply capacitors. There are no schematics for it anywhere online or in print form so I'm hoping someone can say for certain if the two large black capacitors near the output transistors are for the output stage or the power supply. They are marked 6800uF 50V.

PSU I'd say as they are clsoe to the transformer and can types aren't often found as output caps.
Can you not trace the wiring to see if they are connected to the rectifier(s).

Yeah, main power supply caps. If you look at the solder side/track work you will see that the two caps are connected at the GND point, probably a black(?) wire also present.
After cleaning all of the controls and contacts, the receiver is working and sounding pretty nice so at this point I will just enjoy it.
