I am setting up a Raspberry music system with the following stack (all by Ian Canada) :
I/V STD
9038Q2MPi Dual Mono Plus DAC HAT
Fifo Pi Q7 + ESS Controller
Raspberry pi 3B
PurePi II ← iFi Silent Power2
The I/V STD needs +12V/Gnd/-12V power. Is there any clean, low noise power supply with these outputs? I was looking at Ian's LinearPi MkII and saw it does 12V but not sure if outputs + and - plus the ground. That would need 24V in and out, if I am getting it correctly.
Currently have a wall wart off Amazon that outputs +/-/gnd but am sure it's pretty noisy. Ideally would like an ultracapacitor/LiFePO4 setup similar to the PurePi. Any suggestions?

If you want a quiet and well regulated power supply there are plenty of options. Take a look at the Muffsy Power Supply, and it can be modified to suit many output voltage reaquirements.
Not to mention it uses a simple and easily available wall mounted ac/ac x-former, and fits in small project boxes for an outboard shielded power supply
Thank you that looks good, and probably (easily?) adaptable to +12/Gnd/-12V. Will investigate this further. What do you think of the
IAN CANADA LINEARPI MKII DUAL Ultra-Low Noise Linear Power Supply Module 2x +/-12V +/-5V +/-3.3V 2.5A
Only problem is it is sold out in the store.
The Muffsy would suffice I would say and the other Ian Canada is higher spec and higher priced.
If you click on the link in post #6, there is a "Notify me when available" tab, or you can send the store an email to ask - contact@diyaudiostore.com
Have a look at this one, you can do it all yourself.

There are other power supply designs in the Power Supply thread that would suit.
