a 1V amplitude sine wave into an 8 ohm resistive load is really only 1/16th of a Watt.

a 1Vac (=1Vrms) sinewave into an 8r0 test load is 125mW (=1/8W)
A 1Vpk (=2Vpp) sinewave into an 8r0 test load is 62.5mW (1/16W)
A 1Vdc into an 8r0 test load is 125mW (1/8W).

Hi Richy,
Your amplifier is conservatively specified - many manufacturers would call that a 200W amp.
