Hi,
I have this TA2022 amplifier board:
YJ TA2022 90W+90W Volume contol amplifier board new | eBay
According to the description, the board requires AC 22V-0-22V 5A power, so would it be possible to use transformers that are used for halogen lights? I have a bunch of these transformers (they are AC 240V in -> 12V out, and 50W output).
If it's possible, how would I connect them together? I was wondering if I could use a pair of them to get 24V, and another pair to get the other 24V. Would that be too much for the TA2022?
I'm still a newbie at this, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

I'm no expert on these things but I would say you are wasting your time with those transformers when all you need is a single 225VA toroidal transformer with 22+22V output. Expensive I know but worth it in the long run.
That's my take on it anyway.
Cheers,
Steve

They also tend to have a very low switching frequency and will inject tons of noise into the amp.
