I have a pass labs x250 and the transformer has a hum to it. Talked to Pass and they have advised me it could be DC offset on my AC. Have not found the source of it yet. Looking to buy a good power conditioner that will filter DC offset and provide me the cleanest power I can get. Looking for a recommendation of a solid unit for this. Would love to have one of those units that convert to DC and back to clean AC, but dang, a good one is expensive.
You just need a DC blocker. Loads of circuits on internet or just buy one off ebay.

Maybe they've wound the PT with too little turns per volt, which drives the core into saturation, and don't admit it?
