Power amp without preamp stage for bass

Hi guys,

I recently build a alembic F2b copy, and now i'd like to build a small single kt66 power amp for it.

I've built the F2b copy following this scheme:

Now i'd like to cut the preamp stage out of the scheme of the power amp. Is it possible to cut out the preamp stage at the left of the red dotted line?

Is that possible?

Sure, it's possible. I'd add an input cap though, just to be safe.

What amp is the schematic from? It seems a bit underpowered for bass.

Your preamp has a .1uf cap and 1M resistor on the output.you can omit r11 in your power stage and just connect your preamp output to r10.
