Wiki Design
Ryan,
I think we should remove the low/high price sections from the wiki. I think it will cause more confusion than anything. It also makes it harder for me to keep track of orders.
If the orders get close to 200, I will update the pricing. Then people can update their orders.
Thanks for your help with this.
Donovan

Fair enough Donovan. I'll leave the wiki in your hands from here on out. If you need any additional help, feel free to ask.
Cheers,

Spread the word!
Ryan,
Thanks for your help with the Wiki. I have updated it with more details.
Please everyone, let others know about this group buy so we can get the cost per board down and give everyone a chance to get some of these great PCB's.
Thanks,
Donovan

Hi Donovan
Perhaps it will be a good idea to start another thread called Lynx PSU pcb (or words to that effect) group buy to attract more attention. Add details of the board there also and a link to the GB wiki.
regards
Gary..

Gary,
I was thinking on the same wavelength...
Perhaps something like "Power Supply PCB for Quality Amps"
I suspect that mentioning LYNX may deter some prospective buyers by implying that it has some component specifically suited to the Lynx. Just my thoughts

Hi Ryan
Yes that is a good idea, although don't leave Jan out as the originator of the design.
Link to GB wiki and layouts is needed in new thread.

Yes I agree to credit Jan with the design and for spearheading things. I just wouldn't specify Lynx in the thread title.
Perhaps a new thread is not necessary... the wiki is adding up quite quickly.

I agree with all of what you said, but I think a specific thread pointing people to the GB wiki will not hurt - should attract more people. That is just my 2 cents worth. I will leave it up to you and Donovan.
If Jan can get more than 200 orders for his amp PCB , then this PSU card which will be suitable for all types of amps should easily go above that total. I have put in for 10 - but most of these will be for future projects as it is a universal PCB.
Cheers

I say go for it. I think it's a great idea to get more people involved in the group buy.
I don't have the time to tend another thread right now though. If one of you would like to start the thread, it would benefit everyone.
Thanks,
Donovan

Still going
It's still in progress, but I am waiting on the final gerbers. There were some problems on the last version that are being fixed.
We just need to get more people interested in this group buy so that we can get the price to a reasonable level. We need at least 50 boards bought to get this buy off the ground. Tell all your friends! 🙂
Thanks,
Donovan

Glad to hear... I thought 100 was the magic number. I'm sure we can get the numbers up to 50.
It's a shame that more haven't jumped on the bandwagon. This is an excellent board and any serious amp builder should be looking at it.

I'd be interested in a few if it had dual rectifier bridges like discussed earlier. Does anyone use single bridge in a poweramp psu?
This is rather common, I should guess.SvErD said:Does anyone use single bridge in a poweramp psu?

Interesting thoughts.
But what is the common way to use these particular PSBs?
Couple the toroid taps in seriemod, to get a centertap, or go for a toroid with double voltage for running in parallel?
Please give me a link to any scheme with the double rectifier version.

It's been discussed many times on this forum, try search.
