Checked fuses by the capacitors and checked for burnt areas on pcb upperside but i am no expert here. Probably a job for a pro. Trouble is electronic engineers in Hereford are as rare as hens teeth. Thanks anyway
It really needs an audio tech to look at it as they will have the circuit diagrams and have experience of fault finding. Is risking death really worth it for a few quid ?
One on ebay pretty cheap
SoundLAB Professional SP6 2 Channel Power Amplifier on eBay (end time 23-Nov-09 00:54:43 GMT)
Maybe worth a purchase, fix yours with the help of the working one, then have two or re-sell!!
