Hello Ian
Fantastic job, and it has to be an inspiration to others to see whats achievable. I looked back at the first post you made --- it's taken under a month to get this far 🙂
So well done, indeed !

Re: Looks good
...the bits were inherited from my brother who died not long ago. He would now be very proud and pleased that they have eventually been put together - he was very good with the electronics side of things, but would have needed my help to take the care needed to sort out the physical planning and casework - so I am very grateful to those of you that have filled this void of electronic knowledge I now have.
This amp will always mean a lot to me, and by the way it sounds it will likely bring a lot of pleasure for some time to come 🙂

Good to see it's still in use. I have a similar amp that's almost 40 years old with Crimson modules - that's had 3 'final builds', so far!
- Home
- Amplifiers
- Solid State
- Power Amp build bits - guidance required...
